2024. július 7-én Gyereknapot tartottak a Mátyfalvai Görögkatolikus Egyházközségben a Szent Panteleimon Görögkatolikus Karitász, helyi vállalkozók és magánszemélyek támogatásával

A több éve megrendezett eseményen fiatalok és idősebbek is találtak kedvükre való programot. A gyerekeknek ugrálóvár, lézerharc, valamint különféle ügyességi játékok biztosították a jó szórakozást. A felnőttek kürtőskalács készítésében jeleskedhettek, habár ebbe a programba a fiatalabb generáció is bekapcsolódott. Ezen kívül lehetőség volt körhintázásra, és vattacukrot is kóstolhattak az arra vágyók.
Pősze Roland atya az egyházközség parókusa elmondta, hogy az ő szolgálati ideje alatt eddig már 12 alkalomm al rendeztek gyermeknapot Mátyfalván. Idén az volt a nap célja, hogy a háborús időszak ellenére lehetőséget teremtsenek a IIszülők és gyerekek részére, hogy boldog órákat tölthessenek együtt, és enyhítsék a mindennapokban rájuk nehezedő terhet.
Az egyházközség az év több időszakában szervez közösségi programot az egyházközség tagjainak, elősegítve a közösség építését, az emberek egymásra találását, megerősítve őket hitükben, hovatartozásukban.

On July 7, 2024, Children's Day was held in the Mátyfalva Greek Catholic Parish with the support of St. Panteleimon Greek Catholic Caritas, local entrepreneurs and private individuals. At the event, which has been organized for several years, young and old alike found a program to their liking. The children had fun with a bouncy castle, laser fight, and various skill games. The adults were able to excel in making trumpet cakes, although the younger generation also got involved in this program. In addition, it was possible to go on a merry-go-round, and those who wished could also taste cotton candy.
Father Roland Pősze, parish priest of the parish, said that children's day has been organized 12 times in Mátyfalva so far during his service. This year, the purpose of the day was to create an opportunity for parents and children to spend happy hours together, despite the war period, and to ease the burdens that weigh on them every day.
The parish organizes community programs for the members of the parish in several periods of the year, in order to promote the building of the community, to support people finding each other and to strengthen them in their faith and identity.
